MXR Micro Amp (M133) vs Micro Amp+ (CSP233)?

Anyone compare these two similar boxes? I'm curious if the Micro Amp+ (CSP233) sounds the same as the Micro Amp (M133) when the CSP233's bass and treble controls are set to neutral.

CSP233:

Related question: are the CSP233's bass and treble controls capable of plus/minus functionality, or just plus?

Thanks!

My regular MA was too bright for me. I didn't find the MA+ to sound the same at all, just mellower.
One negative on both these pedal is, the volume is only unity and up- you can't clean up a dirty amp with them. With the MA+, you can add or subtract bass and/or treble.
The MA+ is far superior IMO

I read the site too, but it doesn't seem to differentiate between the two specifically at https://www.jimdunlop.com/product/m233-7-10137-09527-4.do and the model shown / detailed is the M233 version. A search on the specific CSP233 shows one result - for their Cry Baby Custom...

Not that it really makes much of a difference - just intrigued while awaiting my newly purchased M233 to arrive in the post!

I own one (CSP233), I love it, but I have only the Joyo roll boost to compare (it should be a regular MA clone) and, obviously the MXR has got much less noise, but that's another story...

Reading the official site I understood that the CSP233 is supposed to have got selected components for lower noise.

I think the regular micro amp is as quiet as it gets. Naturally if noise is introduced before micro amp it will be amplified. There was comment this pedal being overall bright. That has to be impedance mismatch with next thing in line (amp input?) or long cables and otherwise passive signal path.
