MXR Script Reissue vs Whirlwind Orange box

What's the good word? I'm trying to decide between an analogman'd 74RI vs the Whirlwind. Bonamassa seems to use the Whirlwind.. but then again.. he doesn't need every bit of tone to cover his playing.. I do. That said.. price aside.. best tone.

I played the Whirlwind and met the designer. Great guy and great pedal. You really can't go wrong either way.

I've been holding off on the Analogman '74. It's a great pedal but the cost is steep to add TB, LED and Power.

I played both and went with the Whirlwind. I found it locally for $120 new, so it wound up being less than the analogman '74 and i thought it sounded as good or better.
