My '55

    Telecaster, that is...

    Just picked this up - a Mark Jenny refin - neck may have some overspray, haven't figured that out yet...rewired (original wire) but all else original. Fantastic soft 'V' neck! Frets are in great shape...

    Some early '55 late '54 specs - flatpole pickup! 4-55 neck date, 5/55 body date (neck cavity).

    Oh, and the sound....well :)

    it has a "smiley" string furrel spacing!! very nice indeed!

    i was wondering if i was seeing that correctly!

    either way, YES...this is a beautiful Telecaster! I want to play it.

    I have been fortunate enough to have had extensive play time on an original (minus refret) 54 tele. It's hands down the best guitar I've ever played. The MJ refin on yours is dead-on. Beautiful...congrats!
