my 60's tribute les paul was stolen in February made it back to me this afternoon.a buddy of mine said he saw someone with it a couple weeks ago. 2 nights ago he saw him again and my guitar came back to me. i'm still stunned. it's 4:30am and i just stopped playing it.

no police necessary. my buddy just took it. i would love for someone to come up to me and say 'hey, that's my guitar.' hours of fun.

Interesting, is it possible that the guy he took it from was unaware it was stolen? Maybe he bought it from someone else, unknowingly.

I still have no idea what happened. How did your buddy get the guitar back? He just took it? Did he steal it? Buy it? Ask nicely? Make threats?
