My bands first 'home recording'

    Well we spent a weekend recording our first demo. Used SONAR for the production.

    Was a fun experience, our first time doing it. I found it hard getting down some good vocal takes as we recorded everything through sm57's into a 'cheap as chips' sound card. No fancy equipment used here :( However i think the overall quality is pretty good.

    All the drums, guitars and vocals were recorded in a tiled room in my mates house ;)

    Im not sure how to upload an mp3 so you can listen to the song on our myspace. Link is also in my sig.

    Not bad...for a one-chord song. Technically, recording sounded quite good & well-balanced, but I kept waiting to hear a different bridge. Nice vocal harmonies, though!

    Thanks~ its true about the one chord ;) Its a once off song though- something different to all our others.
