Hey All! My band is called The Even Tide and we're an established rock group from San Francisco, CA. We've toured, and are close to getting a solid record deal with the release of this NEW EP.

Anyway, i'd thought i share a few tracks and see what you think. I understand most of the old timers on here might now be into this kind of music, as it is very indie and modern sounding, but hopefully you can appreciate the arrangements none the less. We're all under 25 yrs old. For all you gearheads who wanna know what guitars we used for the album.. here they are:
78' Marshall JMP 50 watt master lead
Orange Rockerverb 50
Bogner 4x12 with v30s.
Custom Gibson Les paul, an SG with p90's and 2 teles.

OKAY! so for a most poppy radio song here "As Sixes and Sevens" : http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8625377

For a harder rock song (with a cool 80's bridge) go here "Wrack and Ruin" : http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8624141

for a more indie vibe song, go hear, has a great bridge too "A Month Of Sundays" http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8625378

Love to hear some feedback! CHEERS TGP!:munch

Thank you JOSH! i appreciate it. We had an awesome producer whose worked with some huge bands so it definitely helped the tracking and mixing phase.

well played and nicely crafted tunes. this old timer dug the tunes as well as the production and arrangements.

a word of advice. avoid a record deal like the plague. not all they're cracked up to be in the age of the download, especially if its a 360...

RickMEBE. DULY noted :). Not trying to make a careeer out of music as i am a college graduate and eventually want to have a normal job and life. Its just @ 22, having some funding from a label for a full length album and a few years of touring would be a great life experience.

Thank you all so much for the kind words i really appreciate it TGP!

Sounds great! I gotta say, when I opened your Soundclick page and saw a kid with a big fat smile on your bands pic it made me excited to listen, then I wasn't disapointed by what I heard. Just sayin that while it may not be "cool" to smile, it really gave me a great first impression before even hearing the music.

hi - me here. I'm an old school, vintage rock/blues guy in San Francisco. Indie is not my thing, normally, because I hear so much re-hashed rock when I hear it (I'm going, "OK that 's sounds like John, that's a cop of the Stones, that hook is so much like . . etc.")

Back in the day, I've played with T-Bone Walker, danced with Chubby Checker, opened for Tesla. That's a very little of my background so you kinda get where I'm coming from. Been doing an academic gig for a long time now.

Now to your music - as others have said, great production. A little busy for my taste but the one thing that shines is how I wanted to hear all of each song. To me, that's one sign of good music, it's seduces (me)you to want to hear more.

Keep it up!

BTW - since you are in the Bay Area, tell me more about who does your guitar set-up work, amp tech, studio guys. Thanks!

Good stuff! Doesn't sound too indie to me, at least not the banging out relentlessly 4 to the bar indie style I'm sick to death of now.

I preferred the first song as the most interesting in all aspects. I could see it appearing in 'the band you've never heard of' slot at the end of the Tonight Show.

For the second song, I'd put that harmony guitar riff at 2:33 at the start too, it's much catchier than the main riff.

The third song is well produced and arranged but doesn't particularly stand out to me as it is. The guitars are punctuating the vocal line on the hook well enough rhythmically and audibly, but don't seem to be pointing up the lyric clearly at that place.
