1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

My Birthday's coming up- what should I ask for pedal wise?

I guess the title says it all. My guess is that my super hot wife, who's sitting right beside me, will likely give me a monetary limit (i.e. $100 or so) and say something like "love of my life, what would you like me to get you for your birthday this year? You can have some money and spend it on whatever you like...etc."

What should I get though? I've got a: Keeley Rat, Bodenhammer TS9 DX, Mutron II Phasor, Line 6 MM4, BYOC Delay, Dod EQ, and Crybaby wah.

    What's missing from this picture?

Get something used at a discount. Maybe a RMC Wah? Could be a nice upgrade.

What about the Boss OD3 or SD1?

    Or whatever.

It is clear that she's sitting next to you. The way you worded the whole post gave that away.

Ask for forgiveness for all of the pedal-purchasing guilt you have had, for now, and for the future. Think how wonderful that would be!

My birthday was yesterday, I didn't want to take a chance so I bought myself a Fulltone Clyde Deluxe Wah for my Birthday.

To the OP, at least you're talking with her about it, not sneaking gear into the house like many here have admitted to.

I wonder if the OD3 is cooler than M Audio's new Multi wave distortion pedal.

My first thought was a bypass-looper maybe? http://www.tonefactor.com/proddetail.php?prod=FourChannelLooper

'course you'll need some cables ($), too...

Or if you don't already have a tuner maybe a Korg Pitchblack! :)

Have a Happy Birthday whatever you get!

Good idea about the compressor- I've heard good things about BYOC's Ross clone too. That's worth checking out.
