    Hi,

When I feel like composing/recording and run out of ideas I have found that setting limitations to what I can do or use can give me inspiration.

In this case I decided that, apart from drum sounds, I could only use one guitar, one amp and one processor. The tune should also have at least three different sections, So what you hear is one guitar (multiple takes though), one amp and one processor. No pedals, no electric bass, no synths.

Can you guess what I'm using?

    Cheers,

I don't know anything about amps, so I'm just gonna guess that you are playing an ash tele with a solid maple neck. I could be wrong and it'll be a strat with a similar wood config.

P.S. Nice playing and nice feel. Good tones as well. Kudos to you.

    Hi,

The guitar is a Yamaha Pacifica 604W.
The "amp" is a Yamaha DG-1000 preamp with its speaker simulator set to "on" going straight into the mixer and then recorded direct.
The processor is a tc electronic g-force.

    Thanks for listening!

    Cheers,

    Mats N
