Heres a cover of 'Dirty Love' by my band The Dirty Diamond. That's me on the 1st solo, and my singer's brother guesting on the second one. I can't tell you how cool of an experience it was to record at the UMRK, def a highlight in my musical experiences so far.

If you like the track and want to hear some of our bluesy/british/world/ambient rock originals, please 'like' our Facebook page at:

Thanks!

That was great, good band! I like the singer, and nice work on the guitars.

Thanks for the post.

Very cool, sounds great!! Unique and yet completely true to the original as well. I'm not sure if if's the UMRK or what, but it's totally got that Zappa mojo.

I was just playing it at work and my coworker(we listen to Zappa all the time) seriously thought I had just put in a regular Frank CD. :)

I was in a band in the early 80's that did "Dirty Love" at a battle of the bands at my High School at the time...we won!

We also used to play other Zappa tunes, as well as "Stratus" by Billy Cobham, some Mahavishnu Orchestra and also some deeper cuts from Steely Dan.

I loved that Band!

I saw your earlier video at UMRK. Final cut came out great.

Like the "Magic Fingers" quote at the end.
