I liked how the gnat tune to painted a pretty rich soundscape and found it to be kinda captivating. I also enjoyed how you don't take yourself too seriously which created both tension and release.

The drum piece was not my cup of tea, but that doesn't mean it won't flip someone else's switch.

Thanks for the feedback, it means a lot

I'm not a conventional musician. I just play around to see & hear what I get. I don't have an actual studio so when I toy around I plug in a Line 6 KB37, get my guitar and conjure something up. It's all in fun for me and then I might decide to share them here and there.

Thanks again. :aok I usually don't get many comments.

I have this Behringer Xenyx Q802USB mixer and never tried using ASIO4ALL, the one they mention on their web site. So I painlessly found it on an old HP desktop with Win7, downloaded it, installed it and set it. Then opened Riffworks. I already had my HD500 plugged into the mixer so I just set up an Instant Drummer and recorded some of what I call "Fun Play".

Cool...the gnat song created a cool atmosphere. The beat was interesting for the second song. The "Fun Play" song was a really cool idea...I felt like there were 5 or 6 cool ideas in there that could be developed into good songs or parts of songs. I'm going to have to try something like that. Nice job!

    Thanks! :aok
That's cool you got some ideas from them. This is the main reason I post my recordings. :aok

This piece evolved into a very sweet soundscape. Here is one that is creepy from beginning to end.

    Thanks DG. :aok

    I might've turned into a bat
    while listening to that
Felt like I woke up in fog
    swimming in a bog
    like a dog
    in the city smog
    OMG it was hard slog

LOL... wow, did i wave a magic wan and turn Scrapperz into a Rapperz! You sell your gear and just become a poet. :)
Here is one more, don't leave for the store.
Don't run far, just because there is no guitar.
Its all done at night, so it will give you a fright.
It's also very creepy, so don't expect to get sleepy.
Cuddle with a bear, this will give you nightmares!

    Cool!

All I could muster up for now, ha:

I must be getting ready for Halloween
    one that I've never seen
one worse than little red riding hood
walking lonely through the gnarly dark woods
woods so dark she can't see herself
    No reflection, just perplextion
confused, disoriented walking the wrong way
looking for the light ever so slight
will be the saving grace of the night
