    Here's my John Lennon LP Junior that I got in 2007 and my newly acquired 2003 LP Supreme. The family portrait also includes a Schecter C1 Hellraiser and Taylor T5. Note the colored Aurora strings on the Junior - I think John Lennon would approve...

    nice supreme, was someone trying to relic the John Lennon?

    This guitar has been relic'd exactly like Lennon's LPJr that he played when living in New York City in the 70s and 80s. It is now in the John Lennon museum in Tokyo. Gibson borrowed it and replicated all of Lennon's dings, scratches and reefer burns. Note the added Charlie Christian pickup in the neck. I added the colored Aurora strings - think John would approve. Here's a link of him playing it at Madison Square Garden in 1972:

    Can you tell me a little more about the Lennon model- lie when it was made and available? I like it. Looks really cool.

    It's a custom shop limited edition model (300 made) and is available at most dealers.
    Too rich for my blood though at $5K.
