My favorite clean tone cocktail recipe

Here’s the last clip before NAMM-o-rama. I know it may come as a surprise to many of you that I actually created something tasteful and normal—don’t worry, it surprised me too! :D Anyway, here is the guitar group solo’ed from the title track from the upcoming West ZooOpolis album with Marco Minnemann.

    Cocktail Recipe:

Amp: live composite of the Egnater Twin/Deluxe preamp in a MOD 50 cranked up on the full power mode until it is getting a little spongy.

To the left is a little of the piezo signal from the RMC hexaphonic bridge in my EB MM Morse.

Wet FX include a little Fulltone CF-1 and Eclipse delay.

Synth: Lastly in the composite cocktail is a little Kurzweil resorgan to the right triggered from an AXON AX 100 and the RMC hex pickups.

    Skake and serve!

    That's real nice.

If you don't mind me asking, what Eclipse delay algorithm is that?

Thank you very much guys. I really like this tone! My 5 year old daughter calls it the happy family song. :YinYang With the drums, bass, ac gtr and pedal steel, it's really cool. It's one of the few places on the album, where Marco played some time for me to write over for an extended period.

It is one of the modulated delay ones. I have a plate verb in the L block and the Mod delay in the right. In the studio, I shoot the dry tone back out of the Tools into the rack and print it.

This was the first thing I heard this morning (apart from the family of madness in the background) it sounds great. I know this is going to be another great album. :AOK

Thanks the kind comments folks. Appreciated. :JAM

Hey Andy, word? Sadly...and somewhat sheepishly, I'm a total Wayne Krantz noob. I don' think I've ever heard his music, although I here his name everywhere. What would be a good album to get first?

There ya go. There's a few on that disc,

I like "Music Room" on the album "Signals" also. That might be one of his first. Produced by Hiram Bullock also, it's more compressed for sure but some fun tunes on there.

See you in a few. John, too bad you aren't coming up sooner so we could see VOLTO together. Dem boys are crazy!

    Thanks Andy,

I'll see if it's on iTunes and pop it in on the drive up to NAMM.
