    Formative years were late 70s and 80s, so chorus is a staple for me. Flanger and phaser also get some use.

    Formative years were late 70s and 80s, so chorus is a total no-no for me these days. A swirling Leslie though .... that I'll take.

    Tremolo first : It can be so many things, cross multiple styles, and easily be all you need.

    Rotary second : When I'm wrong and you do need something more.

    I'll take 'em all.....except the Doppler effect and Univibe.

    This forum ruined vibe. I get douche-chills. Same goes for the endless "yeah, but will it do Leslie?" query.

    I love the phasers - Mutrons, Maestros, Moogs, Morleys, MXRs, EHX, Chase Bliss - I love em all!

    The trems are good too but the flavors aren't as pronounced. One good trem sort of covers all your bases.

    Then chorus. Vintage Ibanez mn-series bbd stereo chorus is my only flavor.

    I don't ever even consider the other mods except for my old EHX flangers that I hardly ever use.

    So if you had to pick one good trem what would you go for?

    Spaceman Voyager I. I love the envelope setting. My other favorite is the Lovepedal Tremelo for tap tempo and its overall sound. I'd love it if the Tremelo had a subdivisions switch and an expression output.

    I like everything, except for the Univibe. Subtle vibe is great. Sea sick Univibe is terrible.

    I like all of them, but I don't have a Univibe, the Psilocybe phaser gets close to that
    I must like trem 'cos I've ended up with four of them
    The Rotosphere is the pedal I've had the longest time. I've done gigs with just the Rotosphere and a blackface

    Since a univibe is a phaser. I like them equal. My cusack tap a phase works well to get that "vibrato" mode of a univibe. As well typical "phaser" sounds.

    ... And chorus, vibrato and flangers are modulated delays, with a tad different mix, delay time and feedback. I love the moog cluster flux for all three. But any delay with a low enough delay time is swell, I used to use a deluxe pitch pirate for all three, plus delay.

    Tremolo is great.

    Leslie are fun some times.

    Funny thing, when I got my Tap-A-Phase I used it for a whole week and was totally stoked
    Then I discovered the 3-way toggle was a bit stiff and pushed it to the left..another mode!
    I'd been using it for a whole week not even in resonance mode and still thought it was great! Awesome machine

    TC Nova System's detune is to die for. It's my favorite mod effect.

    Here's my chain if you wonder where I put my Flanger.

    Guitar -> Turbo Tuner -> Comp -> Wah -> Whammy Ricochet -> Overdrive -> Fuzz x 4 -> Gate -> Looper -> Pre-Amp -> Amp

    effects loop in: -> Phaser -> Flanger -> Delay x 4-> Reverb x 4 -> Looper -> effects loop out
