    Thanks Bob ...
Yeah I know what you mean ... that solo was just played live one time through ...
It's actually kind of a dialogue with the keyboard player.
So I was riding my volume knob quite a bit ... So sometimes it's louder than others ...
Even though I was using compression ...

    Sounds great Joe :aok

And yes Soundcloud is a fair bit better than Soundclick, which looks like they are stuck in the 90's :p

Really lovely playing Joseph. Just the right blend of smooth and edge. I am with Boblaz though. I would have like it the guitar to have been just a bit bigger in the mix.

Nice playing Joe! Really nice all the way around, some ripping stuff from yer bass player too. Only complaint is you could have been up in the mix a tad (as was mentioned before). Altho I'm listening with ear buds at work, not the best for getting a good reference on the mix, everything is a bit bass heavy on these.....

    Gear list?

One of the things I like about SoundCloud is being able to leave comments in the track - this one has a great groove, west coast ladies' hips are swaying for sure, I just know it!

Ha! Just goes to show once again that it's the player, not the gear (or, in this case, lack of gear). :)

I find it incredibly ironic how guys like you Joseph, working class musicians who's entire beings are focused on playing and gigging are some of the last to come into the 21st century in regards to technology:rotflmao
I mean this in a very sincere and honoring way.
You play the 5h1t out of anything you care to because that's what you've always done. That's just the way it is.
And you just now discovered Soundcloud.
    Frickin amazing man!
    Beautiful music!
    I love it.
    Play on brother!

Really nice groove and compelling melodic interplay. I love the story it tells. Very conversational and engaging!

You're right ... thanks so much.

Hey thanks ...listen without the ear buds if you are curious ... & let me know if you feel the same about the mix.

That's my Melancon Swamp Ash Chambered T ...
With EMG Alnico Tele pickups on it ... with a Maxon CP101.

Hey ... I didn't even know you can do that... will have to check that out.
Been a selling a lot of these CD's at my solo gigs lately ... and many buyers have been women ...:aok

    and I mean incredible ...!!
They are called the Dolly Lama Trio

Not only is Kim a great player... but an extremely cool person & a good friend.

    joe,
that is just lovely, melodic tone and phrasing and extremely musical in every respect...one of the nicest tracks i've ever heard on TGP...(yes, the fretless bass playing is just sublime as well!!) such a fantastic job...at times a bit Carlton-esque, and i mean that as the highest accolade!!! (i realize that i am such a vanilla player, that i often think that you guys have guitars with more notes on them than mine do..ha) really, really great :)

Thanks JParry for the kind words...
Yeah, sometimes I just don't want to be bothered but Soundclick seems to be a much better options for sharing audio clips ...
But Soundwise & for instant replay.

It's good to get with it!!
