I need a new headphone amp. Good tones, with a metronome is all I really need. I will probably get another Korg but anyone have a really nice Headphone amp they like?

I've been on the hunt to find something to replace my PX5D for quite some time. I haven't found anything I like, and at this point, if I do anything I'll probably just go for one of the iPhone dongles.

I would second this. It's a great form-factor and has some pretty killer tones.

What do you need to use the I-phone? What apps sound best?

I have two PX4's and would take a G3 over both of them any day of the week.

is there a way to hook up an mp3 player to the zoom g3? i have been using a tascam mpgt headphone amp/mp3 player and have been looking for something that sounds better. i tried a pocket pod and it really did not sound any better.

No aux in for the G3. That could be important to many people.

Isn't the G3 like 4x the size of the Pandora? Its cool that it is battery operated, but I like something that I can keep on the coffee table without taking too much room.

I would love a small headphone amp that has built in storage for Mp3s to play over, a metronome, a tuner, battery operated, built in amps/effects, looper, and maybe 4-track recording ability. I guess I can get all of these things when I finally get an iPhone someday.:rotflmao

I would either do another Korg, (I have a P3 that I still like), or if you have an iphone or ipod touch, get whatever is necessary for that.

the tascam mpgt1 covers all these bases. it just doesn't sound all that great for guitar tones.
