I'd like to share my latest project, a strat with 'trons.

    Specifications:

USA Custom Guitars lightweight alder Strat body, maple neck with rosewood fretboard, '54 profile, 6150 frets, 12" radius, and small dots. TV Jones classic neck pickup, classic plus bridge pickup.

this started life as a "good deal" body on USACG's web specials. I said "why not?" and started a different type strat for me. the body was routed for Filtertrons, and I went with TV Jones pickups.

thanks to Fred Marotta for putting this together, and Tommy at USACG for the good wood. :)

I tried this out through my tweed Deluxe, and my Victoria Double Deluxe. Very warm and growly, with rich harmonics.

    more project pics here: Stratron

    anyway, enjoy

    Peace

I agree ... the body was already routed for a Hipshot hardtail though.

my next project is a hollow T with 'trons in P90 covers and a Bigsby. Should be done in a few weeks

unfortunately I haven't been making clips lately

words don't do justice of course, but it sounds terrific to me .. growl with twang and sparkle on top. I think it would track great for rhythm, but it sounds pretty good for lead when cranked

    Very nice ;)

If possible, let's hear more of that '54 Deluxe -- much better sounding than the Blues Jr. clips.

Congratulations. I hear some 'trons in my future.

Thanks for posting the clips, Curly.

    thanks ...
the Deluxe is my best amp, but I've done more clips with the Blues Junior - mainly because I expect more people have an amp that sounds similar.
