I'm soooooo happyyyyyyy:RoCkIn
gege. Pre CBS. 1963.
And so you should be!
That kicks significant quantities of posterior. I'm selling my Japanese JM ... but someday, I'd love to get a good vintage JM. Great guitars.
That's awesome Uchison!
Is there a story behind it? or care to share an details?
That baby was loved by someone...but not babied by anyone.
Forgot to ask... was so exited. Had an experienced luthier/repairman check the guitar for originality and was assured that it is original.
I will aks him for th story behind it, right now, I just wanna jam. Unfortunately, it's too late around here, so only acoustic.
Untill last friday/week, I've never tried a Jazzmaster before. And now hardly one week later I've got my own pre-CBS Sonic Blue, matching headstock with original case!! :AOK
I'll make more pictures in daylight.
The sound is amazing. Really fat.
VERY nice man! enjoy that baby...
Man that thing is so righteously beat... Love the color too! One of Leo's overlooked jems. That and the Jag were supposed to supercede the Strat... never happened I guess.
That is a super-gorgeous guitar and I am super-envious!
I've kind of wanted a Sonic/Daphne Blue Jazzmaster ever since I saw David Rhodes with his in a British guitar mag a few years back.
That thing has some mojo.
Very sweet! Congratulations.
Wow! Enjoy it. I'd love to have one. I was just looking at bunch of em in the Chinery Collection book.
Huge fan, own one myself. And that is one great color for that guitar! Now go play the s**t out of it! AC
Can you get a bigger picture up? Perhaps a few close ups? That thing is georgeous!
Another huge fan here .. my favourite Fenders .. just waiting for my surf green '61 to come back from a setup. Enjoy!
What a stunning find!
Very cool, Uchison!
I'm Daphne Blue with envy.
What an amazing guitar. Matching Headstock too! Don't let go of that one.
I love jazzmasters!
I got a '64 and a '67
wow Ulrich, where did you find that one? NICE!
Exactly my idea. Never ever to let go of this one. :AOK
I'm still in heaven, altough the guitar needs a setup badly. Still it sounds amazing, even with these old D'addario (not my favorite brand) strings....
