Just wanted to share some pics with y'all! Chris does a great job with his guitars... check him out here on TGP or on his site. Perfect customer service, even when buying used he relic'd the guitar and set it up for me. Wonderful all around experience; would use him again and again.

    Nice!

Of course, I expect nothing less from K-Line. I don't recall ever seeing one of chris' guitars I didn't like.

If I could finish like that, I'd be on the way to having the house paid off.

    Enjoy the new Tele.

Hi, Guitar looks great. How does it play?

One question about the neck: It the neck just sanded to bare wood or does he relic the sanded part? Regardless, I would assume the neck will get greasy soon enough anyway! Enjoy!

I like the neck like that raw like that. It wear right in nice and dark in no time, and be part of you. Awesome color too.

    Very nice.

If you don't mind, what are the neck specs like (chunky/thin, frets, radius)?

Yes, Lake Placid Blue it is. The thing plays GREAT and I absolutely love the Lollar Specials. It made me sell my beloved Nash Tele based on the sound alone!

It's a c-neck wooderson, but I haven't a clue about the radius or fret size. Just feels good and sounds great...

    I agree and congrats!

I had 2 of Chris's teles but had to sell my LPB. It never sold but I traded it with a fellow TGP'r for his K-Line Strat. I can't put the strat down.

Still have the one on the left...

My two KLine strats are the only strats I gig anymore.
I've got a sonic blue alder/rosewood and a blonde swamp ash/maple. They play and sound great.

Csapo, those are all beauts! I bet that strat plays better than any Fender I've picked up in my life......

Great color choice on the tele you kept... gentle but manly. ; )

I'm sure their great and all but I prefer to buy my jeans new and dark and break them in myself. Those guitars aren't even like going to the Salvation Army and buying an old faded pair of Levis they're like going to the mall and buying a brand new pair that are made to look old and already have holes in the knees.

If you dig them, cool but I don't know.....something about them seems sorta phony.

Have you been to the mall lately? That is exactly what they are selling, and for $2-300 each.:crazy

I love my KLines and they feel great. I've been gigging one of them heavily for 2 years now and it sure feels like an old strat.
This is a KLine love thread, please keep the relic hating in one of the 1,000 relic-hating threads.:BEER

It's not all about the look - it's about the feel for me. A worn neck feels so comfortable in the hand. I know relics arent for everyone - but i have heard nothing but praise for Chris' guitars both in feel and sound.

Well, I love my new Tele K-Line in Shoreline Gold. It kills!!! The Lollars with a 4-way I asked Chris to add are just perfecto. The mild relic'ing is sweet. More traditional tele vibe than the Melancon it replaced (though it was a great git too). The T-style mates with the S-Style in Daphne blue that I scored from a fellow TGP'er. I'm in very happy toneland with these and they play great. Thanks Chris. Note: The decal was applied by yours truely, not K-LINE!!!
