Turned out pretty nice I'd say. I've had it for a bit now, unfortunately due to being a new dad, working, and finding a new residence I haven't had a chance to delve in as deeply as I'd like. What I will say is that this guitar is extremely sensitive to how you play it moreso than my other Melancons or any other guitar I've played. It has the twangy resonant Melancon mojo in spades, but Gerard's PAF's really add something different to the mix. Visually it's just a work of art. For me, and I may be a bit biased, this is the nicest maple top I think I've ever seen. I mean "hands" holding the neck pickup and "lightning bolts" coming out of the bridge pickup? Unbelievable~! Gerard is one of the good guys doing this and I really feel lucky to own this one. I hope to do some clips and a more detailed tonal analysis in the near future, but realistically that's not going to happen until I move into the new house in April. So for now enjoy the view!!

What wonderfully unique cosmetics. Love it. Killer flame on the back of the neck too!

I've been through a boatload of the small custom builder stuff and I gotta admit that a Melancon is one of the very view that I still find myself gassing over. Maybe someday........

    MAJOR CONGRATS!!!!

Very nice, very, very nice. The blue neck is amazing. Melancons are underrated IMVHO.

For you guys with the Melancons, can you sum them up compared to the other stuff available in the same vein?

Where does the magic mojo reside???
