The swirl V-Pick guitar was completed today! WHAT A VOICE IT HAS!
Jay Kolanda (our very own Murkat) really knocked it out of the park today with the assembly and set up. Paint job by Southbound Custom here in Nashville. This guitar was the dream child of Rodney James. Now all I need to do is learn how to play it!

    Huge, fat Warmouth maple neck
    Warmouth mahogany body
GFS bridge mini hums in both positions
    Schaller Trem system
    Planet Wave locking tuners
    Tone Pro studs
    All Parts oversize strap locks
    All Parts electronics
    GHS Nickel Rockers Brunished 10s
Glow in the dark neck markers
Glow in the dark base color on the body.

This guitar sounds and plays wonderful.
I don't know what else to say.

    Fun stuff...

Interesting new axe which looks like it plays really nice, also looks like you have a nice hefty neck on her.

    Thanks guys.

Yep. I chose Blue and Orange as my main colors because they are opposite on the color chart.
It really is much brighter than these pictures show.

It does have a HUGE neck. Biggest I have played. I love this. I have very fat fingers and I just cannot play a flat5 chord on a regular neck. This neck is also excellent with playing vibrato. Warmouth did a great job on the fret dressing. Action is very low and plays so good!

    The guitar is a Beast.
So, I refer it as the Beast.
I also surprised how well it sounded.
You just never know what is going to happen when putting something like this together...
    You, we, did well Vinny.
(the neck is way freeky huge)

You did a great job putting this thing together.
The action could not be better.
And the bridge pickup that we moved 1/2 inch forward is perfect.
Not to bright and brittle and still bites like a dog.

I think those Ton Pro anchors really helped the guitar too.
    The sustain is incredible.
I have not found 1 dead or even weak spot at all.

    Great job Jay.
Thanks for the quality work you did on this guitar.

That's one of the coolest and most original swirls i've ever seen. Awesome guitar!

I really like it. I don't know why, but it reminds me of a bowling ball. I like unique things.

I guess I have always liked those types of bowling balls too.
If I bowled, I bet my ball would be fluorescent!

Our own Chris Bernard came over and test drove the swirl.
    He LOVED it.

Maybe he will chime in here and say a few words>>>>>

Where'd you get the glow in the dark fret dots?!!!

    Killer!

I'm gonna order a Warmoth neck, and would love to have those.

Sure thing! Very balanced weight and comfortable with a strap. Great feeling and definitely the biggest neck I've ever played. The mini-hums really stand out, especially the neck pickup which is like the hottest and fullest strat sound with a twist. Really cleans up great also!

A very memorable looking and sounding guitar for sure!
