BIG shout-out to Tim @ Morgan Music for making a great deal happen. Gave me a nice trade-in opportunity (a Fender The Edge Deluxe amp) towards this Anderson:

Man, is this baby a winner. My previous experience with a TA was kinda "meh." This is entirely different. She arrived with a VERY good set-up, with (I'm pretty sure) a set of 9s, and just a smidge of fret buzz. Low, extremely playable action. I put on a set 10s, and, overnight, the additional tension added a hair of relief to the neck, and now the set-up is perfect. Love it when that happens! I'm a big-neck fan, and this one is SO comfy. I'm feeling a generous amount of shoulder, to make the .970" (12th fret) depth feel even more substantial.

She's got an SC1- pickup in the neck and middle, and I love 'em. Truly noiseless, with a slight "rolled-off" tone--a little edge taken off the top end, and I LOVE that sound. I can understand how people say that TAs have a decidedly "modern" feel, and, for me, this is all for the good. I've never been on a tone quest for a particular vintage Strat sound, but I do know a tone that works for me when I hear one. And I'm all for stellar playability!

I love a 60’s vibe or 60’s + and those are rare to see too. I have only seen two other ET 1000 one of which I am thinking of buying lol

Wow, congratulations! Even taper +.100 is my kind of neck. That's definitely the way I'd go with a TA for sure.

It's an access for the optional "Switcharoo" system so you can get to the DIP switches to configure it. They all have it, Switcharoo or not.

Those are my 2 "must haves" in a Strat. Almost everything else is negotiable.
