The April issue has an article on my Strat prototype called "Pieces of a prototype". Any one see the story yet? What do you think? I haven't recieved my copy yet so I don't know what spin they put on it. I've waited so long for my 15 minuets I just had to brag a little.

Is that the one with the 3-spring trem that has lost its original neck?

I did see it, very unusual with the small trem spring rout and the slide switch cutout. Great story and guitar.

I have heard that there are other early Strats with the narrow 3 spring trem route but no one has a picture of one or can point to one for real. If there is one it would have to be another prototype as there is no production guitars with that feature.

I saw it and thought of you, but couldn't recall your username to bring it to your attention here.

That's cool as hell. Didn't see that issue of VG, might pick up though.
