So for my own interest...what other OD pedals would you add to this collection to cover all bases.... I have several amps and guitars so I swap out drives often. I know I'm missing some tone options.... What is missing?

    Ibanez TS-9
    BOSS SD-1
    Keeley DS-1
    Xotic-RC Booster
    Timmy
    Barber LTD V2
    Way Huge Red Llama

What else would you suggest to give a basic "toolkit" of overdrives?
    Thanks,
    Barnzy

Geez, dude! That's already a lot of dirt. But I'll play, what the heck. You don't have a Rat. Get a Rat. Also no fuzz. Get a fuzz. Iron Bell is a safe place to start. Finally, no klon circuits. Get a Rawkworks Night and live a long and prosperous life.

Great suggestions! Every once in a while I buy an overdrive and I don't want to walk in circles too much. I have a fat rat on my list. Also a Klone, but need to sort out which one. I'll look into your other suggestions. Thanks!

The worst possible addition would be a Kingsley. Do not add a Kingsley.

(Because it will destroy your craving to collect other overdrives)

I have one OD, and it's this one. Love it. The "bump" button sounds amazing and the 100hz control is very useful.

You most certainly don't have an Analog Man Prince of Tone. You might want to fix that.

I also agree with the math above that the Rat is 150% of a normal pedal. ;)

This to put at the end of your chain to use by itself or stack your other OD into, or even fuzzes if you pick one up.

Really is best edge of clean OD you've ever heard, way it stacks and way it just become like a extra slightly more OD channel of your amp is amazing.

Is it just me that sounds the same through 90% of Overdrive pedals that they have?

Unless you're going to get something that really deviates from the norm, like a Boss Xtortion or something ridiculous, you are set to go with what you have, in my opinion.
