My Recent .357 Mag Ammo Post

    For whatever reason I cannot reply to my recent .357 Mag ammo vs .38 question.

    I do understand I can use .38 in a .357 but not .357 in a .38 gun.
    My question was with the .357 Mag round and how they seem to visually differ in case length when viewed online which had prompted my initial post.
    Someone mentioned the SIG .357 which BTW I do use in my SIG P226.
    At any rate, my question has been answered.

    They don't. Case length is a fixed number.

    The picture in the last link does not match the item being sold. That happens sometimes, where vendors will use the same pic on different calibers just to show the brand. Common on pages where there's a pull-down to choose the caliber.

    Don't go by photos in those ads. The retailers may sell the same ammo in different calibers.
