My Suhr S1 mods

    Nothing major just a slight personal touch to my #1 with a guard swap and knob change. :)

    great job, guard and knob swaps can often look cheesy, but you did a good job of keeping elegant, while upping the wow factor.

    Nice job man!

    I did a swap on my S1 too, I have an orange crush S1 which now sports a tortoise shell guard...looks so much better!

    I love those knobs, are those celtic knot motifs on the tops?

    Love tortoise 'guards on white and black Strats. Very cool, nsriley! Where did you get one to fit the Suhr?

    BTW, what do you think of the S1?

    To answer a few questions, I got the celtic knot knobs from Q-parts. The pickguard I ordered direct from Suhr. I love the S1. It's my #1. Very toneful, nice range of different tones. Playability is A++. It just fits my hands like a glove. :)
