    You always have a unique approach even when the sounds are familiar.
    and you always swing. Very original voice going on there...
    Your tracks are too fun and cool.....
    I have the same pups and have been debating doing this mod
    myself...are you completely happy with it? Did you do it yourself?
    I sure don't hear any hum!!!

    Sub, I had a friend hook the thing up as I watched. It's fairly simple but I'm pretty much a clutz when it comes to soldering and such. Hey that rhymes.

    Anyway, I highly recommend it. It works great and makes this guitar playable again.

    what is the Shur thang-i thought his new PU's were automatically noiseless-or with a toggle or somethin???

    The back plate system is a retro fit system for any stratocaster to have basically the same capabilities as his silent pickup system.
