Chuck, Great to see you and that you're alive and doing, apparently, better than ever out in SoCal.
Love all those double stop bends that Harry mentions.
And the Chuck lick at 2:41... :)
Fantastic. What I really take away from aside from the effortless fluidity of your playing, is just how light your touch is.
Plenty of gas in your car!

    Hey Chuck,

I think you're ready to take over Herrington's chair in SD should he move on.

    That was sweet!

    Hey East Coast homey!
Thanks man, we like it here!
I've been playing that CD lick (1 of 3) for so many years, I must like it..
I am def playing w/ a lite touch during a lot of this. I think it helps me to relax and not choke the notes...? Or maybe I'm getting old..
Thanks man say hi to Rob and the fellas..

I smiled when I first read this, and then it made me think a little. I dunno, my favorite (and not so favorite) tones really hasn't changed all that much over the years. Altho now maybe it's a bit easier to get the tones I want, it's a great time for gear these days, you aren't just stuck with a few amp/pedal/guitar makers.

Hope all is well in CA! Funny, you missed one of the mildest winters we've had here in a while, figures, right? Lol.......

Of course.... we move and NY has one of the mildest winters in recent history! But we're good out here and are getting the hang of things. I'm just happy that I can record my guitar and get a pleasing sound at home. It's a great time to be a guitar player!

    Chuck

Thanks DG! Of course now if I listen all I hear all the things that I screwed up...should have learned the melody better, etc...but any day you get to play on a Dan tune, it's a good day. Man, they have written so MANY great songs!

    Chuck
