    Very nice!

What's the update? My guess: the '59 ES335

    Thanks!

The ODS has been my #1 amp for several years now. I absolutely love the tones I get from it.

Up until recently, I've primarily been a Strat player, but I started messing with my R8 for gigs a little while ago. Saw the '59RI ES-335 for a pretty decent price, fell in love w/ the burst on it, and grabbed it up.

I played it almost exclusively at our gigs this past weekend. Just a wonderful example of a 335. The variety of tones I could get out it was pretty amazing. The position two (both humbuckers) even gave me a really cool "Gretsch-y" spanky kind of sound.

    Thanks Greg! :)

It's an inspriing rig to play through ... love the feel and sound of both guitars.

The '59RI ES-335's neck is actually a good bit chunkier than the R8's is. LOVE how it feels! :drool
