I had given up hope of it arriving today but I got home from going out this evening and it had been left with my neighbour.

First impressions, the neck is instantly comfortable. I've small fingers but my palms are reasonable big, and there is no sign of tiring or cramping with the standard 59 neck. The rolled edges are nice and the finish/ lack of finish makes it nice and fast up and down.

The feel of the body finish is weird, not in a bad way, but not what I was expecting, there is a texture to it.

Looks wise this baby is awesome and is going to take people's focus on God during worship on Sunday.

Sound wise, well this is my first ever strat so I'm only used to 3 positions rather than 5 to play with as well as the mid boost. I'm loving the Dimarzio VVs and that Shark has some bite.

I'm glad you all tempted me to order this, I can see the others gathering dust for a while.

Now for the pics (sorry about the quality and my lack of skills)

Sounds like you're loving yours. Now you are tempting the rest of us. :)

I've never played one and the headstock used to looked hideous to me. It is starting to grow on me.

I'll have to try one soon.

    Brings back memories.
I've owned a couple of Burning Waters...and really dug them.
I have 2 strats now...but if the strat itch happens again, Tyler would be my choice.
Just the 2 single's and JB 'bucker, rosewood board, and no mid boost.
And the exposed mamywo in the body if possible.
    That's MY poison! :drool

    Congrats man,

    S.

    Great looking BW.

The killer part for me is I have never seen 2 that the BW pattern were even close in appearance.

For my money, JT makes the best Strat in the business.
