Never watched one episode of Happy Days. She was born in 79 though. but still...
Neither has mine, but she's French, so...OTOH, she does know who Chrissy Snow and Jack Tripper are...
Born in 79. That's the clue, mate.
Unless she trolled Nick At Night as a teen, chances are good she never ran across Arthur Fonzarelli.
It's a big planet, and time marches on...but still, weird!
This thread is jumping the shark
My wife watches King Of The Hill and distinctly can recall the episode "A Rover Runs Through It" where her family was losing their ranch in Montana because Henry Winkler--"The Fonz"---bought the adjacent property. His refusal to yield his road for their use as a cattle trail to move the herd "up in them mountains", along with "all you Hollywood folk" moving in and raising property taxes, were causing them to lose the ranch.
But has she seen grease?
Because I have never met a chick that hasn't.
Weird. Now Potsy, I could understand that perfectly.
Your wife is cool.
A "chick?" Are you the Fonz?
Aaaaaayyyyyy! This can't be correct-amundo?!? Everyone knows the Fonz!
I know the show ran until the mid 80s. I stopped watching after Richie left. My kids don't know the show. Do realize this show is 40 years old!
Happy Days ran from 1974 to 1984. I was born in '73 and have seen every episode, multiple times- whether I liked it or not, mostly repeats.
Arthur Fonzarelli is an Americon Icon, much like Ronald Reagan.
And don't get me worked-up about Pinky Tuscadero.
Most of the things i like / know, is foreign to my wife.
lol... Pinky Tuscadero. Where did they come up with these names.
How much does she weigh?
Besides, who didn't love him in Children's Hospital?
