    Hi,

So this is it. After having sold my ES-335 I was sort of missing that style of guitar so I borrowed a Yamaha SA500. Not only was it expensive but I like it better than the ES-335 I sold.

I used the guitar on my two latest clips and backing tracks posted hear on the Gear Page.
    These can be found here:

This time I wanted to try a clean sound so I wrote this little tune. I was aiming for a sort of Carlton/Ritenour feel and sound.
The guitar is the SA500 through my Boss GS-10 straight into the computer.
I feel VERY good about this guitar.

    The tune is here:

Those of you who feel laidback and relaxed can find a backing track here:

I always appreciate comments on my playing, tone, composition, and BT so load those cannons and let the critique fly.
If you download the BT, don't forget to post a take. :D

    Cheers,

    Hi Marcello,

    Thanks!
I know what you mean and I actually planned on some juice but I had so much fun with the clean so that won the day.

    Cheers,

Thanks for the backing track. Sweet tone, I really like the relaxed feel you convey.

Hey Mats, nice guitar; another cool BT!! How wide is that body? It looks narrower than a 335.

    Hi,

Webb and haml - Thanks for listening.

adlibmusic - The width is just like an ES-335 over both bouts. Fits snugly in the 335 case.

That's a sweet looking (and sounding) guitar, Mats. More importantly, though, you know how to use it! ;) Nice mellow playing and smooooth octaves.

    Hi Norm,

The tone I was aiming for this time was a mix between Scott L's clean Fusch in his "rusty" thread and the one you used when demoing your own clone. Thanks to Scott and you for the inspiration!

    Cheers,

    Mats N
