Wow.... Jeff Bober did it again.. He basically upgraded and redesigned the SD18 Budda with an amp that has a better sounding clean channel, Master volume on both the clean and solo channels, more versatile at lower volumes. Added a fan.. my Budda SD30 gets pretty hot. A great fx loop..
His newest amps are the duality series, which I'd love to own, but are a bit out of my price range...
The Club 18 is perfect for me. Still got that great Budda vibe tone and feel for lead, which I was concerned about....
View media item 50333.. the matching 1/10 open back cab sounds f..n huge..Never heard a 10" speaker sound like this..... great work Jeff, and the workmanship is stellar....
I didn't post this for bragging rights or some other weirdness, I just wanted my fellow guitarists to know about these phenomenal sounding guitar amps. If you see one, do yourself a favor and play one...

I've got a really early sd 30 II head with the fender style handle. I'm scared to think how these East amps could be made better. I'd definitely like to try one of the Easts someday. I bet they're fantastic.

I've been fortunate to own or play most of the great vintage and boutique amps (blackface, matchless, headstrong, tophat to name some). When I plugged in the Budda my jaw dropped followed by a huge smile.

I agree.. I've got an early SD30 as well. #28... Incredible amp..it stopped my amp search until I saw the East 18 for sale. It has a more refined sounding clean channel and you can vary the volume between the rhythum and solo channels a bit easier

Very nice! Congrats. I'm have an early Budda SD30 series I head myself. One of my favorites. I've also played a Twinmaster. I'm a big fan of Jeff Bober's stuff. I'm sure I would love his East stuff.

Jeff needs to hire an Industrial Designer to improve the look of these East amps. This is only my opinion, but the logo, panel, and overall aesthetic looks amateurish.
Having said that, I'm sure they sound incredible. And, I enjoy Jeff's podcast "Amps & Axes"

Cool! So does it have the same amount of gain as the SD30? Looks like a nice, small sized head!

I'd love to own an East amp someday. I played the East 2-watter years ago and really liked it.

I'm a big fan of Jeff's work. The Budda 18 is one of my favorite amps of all-time!

Hi Shane....I would say it has more if you wanted it. The Gain and 1st volume control feed into the master Gain Volume control ... still liking your Pitbull?

Ok cool, I don't need more but like to have as much. After doing some tube rolling I got the Pittbull sounding and feeling exactly how I like it! I have a smaller headshell on the way i'm waiting on to make it a little more portable!

Me too... I also have a Budda SD30... incredible amp....Jeff has really refined the Budda tones with the East Amp line, but still has that elusive Budda quality that we all love...
