Just got this gem this afternoon. This has a solid ash cab and sports an oxblood grill and a Celestion Gold. I stumbled on to these from a shootout that fellow TGP'er Groberts did on here a little while ago. I have about an hour an a half on this so far and ran a Strat, Tele, and Les Paul through it. Cleans are excellent, very rich and full with a nice sparkle on top. Overdrive with single coils is very nice, articulate edge to medium break up. Plug in an LP and crank it and you get wonderful, smooth, juicy gain. The sound dispersion is also excellent for a 10" speaker. Sounds big and compares favorably with my 24" and 27" 1x12 cabs, at least at the volume levels this amp operates at. I think the money shot on this is the Celestion Gold. I figured it would sound good but I'm pleasantly surprised at how great it sounds. Killer little amp. Fender is only distributing 79 of these for the US so I'm glad I was able to grab one. Thanks for the tip Groberts!
