Dude, seriously. The trick is to dime the tone knob, and roll my guitar's tone knob back to about 6-7. Holy crap that sound is unrivaled. And then, just for good measure, boost it with my Blue Note. :)

Lately I’m running my Jetta with volume and tone both around 1:30 - 2:00, and volume and tone knobs on Tele bridge pickup at about 7, rolling the volume up a bit for leads. It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

    HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!

Absolutely choked at the Bueller reference. It was so seamless, too. :D

Man, the McCarty into this amp is a very, very different beast. It took getting this guitar back for me to realize that the Suhr just isn't for me. RIP, buddy. :(

I bet the Jetta would pair real nicely with my Boogie Fillmore 50 or Rivera Jake...and a hell of a lot cheaper than the Bartel I've been lusting after...

Dude, I've had mine up for sale because of GAS, but spent 3 hours playing it last night. I just took the ad down. This amp really is unbelievable.

GAS has been beaten down by the Jetta.

I had noticed a new amp in the Z line named Jetta, but hadn't really looked into it due to not being in the market for an amp. However, I just found out last night from a different thread that the Jetta is loosely based off of a Reverbojet and thus uses those 7591 tubes. One of my favorites, dang it, I did not need to read that...then I see this thread this evening discussing it, and Hiwatt comparisons are mentioned? Any of you with a Jetta tried it with an alnico speaker like some of the old Reverbojets had?

Hahaha. Funny, I've actually been playing it through my Jensen cab, and my Creamback cab. Both sound incredible, although I actually prefer the Jensens. Absolutely ridiculous sound.

PS: I'm selling my Jetta head since I just spent nearly 3 freaking grand on a PT-15. Just giving you a heads up in case you want to snag one at a crazy discount.

My disagreement that led to that actually turned into something of a total bromance.

Nice to see at least one person hasn't completely shut down in these troubled times.:D
