A quick pic from tone testing yesterday at my friends house.
I wanted a small combo that isn't as loud as my Rockitt Retro '68 plexi 1986.
The Marshall 1974X will replace it. Great tone at a good volume.
My Weehbo JCM Drive pedal sounds excellent and lets me tweak the tone and control volume too.
I like the stock speaker but want to try others. Something that doesn't break up as much and more articulate.
I also want some new EL84's. I have enough NOS preamp tubes. There's a RFT in V1 right now.
My guitars have ReWind Electric pickups. The best I've heard.
The pick guard on the Derek Trucks SG is from CreamTone. The double cream pickup has the cover off while I experiment with different magnets. My friend soldered in a NOS Sprague Black Beauty cap which improved the tone. Now I want more.

Nice. Awesome sounding amps. Instant classic rock tones. Great gear there as well
