Marshall 1959 Handwired. Thanks to those members who gave me a lot of advice during my new amp search. There are a lot of great amps out there with classic Marshall sounds. After a lot of research I decided to go with this one. It looks a lot better on top of the 4x12 than the Reinhardt Mini-me did. Did I mention it is also a little louder than the one it replaced.

Way to go, you will love it. If its too loud the Power Station would be a good addition. There is no master volume on that amp, right.

Stop, just stop! My lust for a 1959 has just been rekindled. Thanks lot.

That looks great and I suspect it sounds great too. There's nothing like a roaring 1959 / 1987 through a full stack!

You should use software to make the headshell in the picture green and then say the Reinhardt got angry..:D

Congratulations! Imho, after years of playing a lot of different amps, several years ago, I finally came to the realization that that Marshall is all anyone ever needs to play any type of music.

If you want to lower the volume, and you decide not to have installed, a PPIMV, try either Yellow Jackets, or Smicz TACS power valves. No rebiasing needed with either variety, and it will bring your wattage down to about 30 watts with four YJ,s and about 4 watts with the TACs.

I used them in my VH4 and Herbert and was amazed at the volume I was able to get from the TACs. It was just enough for clean and lead work, while allowing me to crank the dials to get the amp to roar, but at considerably less volume. I used it in clubs that way all the time. ymmv :)

Using Hot Plate on it now, no complaints. I may try a power station but I really don't need all the extra features.

Mini-me isn't jealous, it's the best lower wattage amp I've ever used.

    What?
