Yep, "Unique" in a VERY vintage way is a good description. I am playing it now and LOVING it. I have really been looking to rid myself of pedal use as much as possible, and for my purposes this amp brings be much, much closer!!!

I really like Juke amps. Very flexible tone shaping, beautiful reverb, and addictive tremolo/vibrato.

Halleluia to ALL of that!!!

Gary (Juke amps) referred me to this review which although it is the Coda it is essentially the same as my 112 in it's 1X12 configuration. The review sums things up so well and showcases the amp in a great way..............

The Juke 112 and the Coda are not the same at all. They have different tone stack, different style inverters and master volume.
The Coda and the new Warblers have a different gain structure, stronger Vibrarto/Tremolo and have more overdrive possibilities.

Tried 2 OD pedals with the amp last night. A CMAT Mods Signa Drive and a MI Audio Blues Pro (2 pedals I really like). Both worked very nicely, but the Signa Drive was my favorite.

I also tried, at Gary's suggestion putting the amp in triode mode and opening it wide up. That gets some sweet output didtortion.

yeahman. i've got a Coda & two of the traditional Jukes and they are very different, and not modifiable from one to the other. but they do share some Juke-ness in sound.

Jukes remind me of Chapin guitars. there's a unique kind of clarity i don't hear from other guits (& i got some nice Heritage & Gibson ones, too).

also, your 112 has the extry tone-shaping controls (UL, Presence, "Tone" (mids)).

I do know that the 112 is compatible with EL34's and 5881 in addition to the 6V6's with the simple Juke bias adjustment.

I haven't toyed with the UL (ultra-linear) switch, but plan to experiment this weekend.
