I think I may only have one sure nuff booty shaker.

Sam Cooke. Twisting the Night Away.

It has IT and can bring a room to its feet fast. I just feel this song in my bones and nether regions and always feel I can deliver hard.

Anybody got others.

On a side note to clarify. I am 40 and love metal and most all genres but this song is the one I picked.

John Cougar's Authority Song. I have a decidedly limited vocal range, but it's in my wheelhouse, and I have fun letting the guitar rip on it. It's always got the crowd on its feet, over the course of several bands.

Authority Song is a great one for this. Yeah I can see that.

Joy To The World - Three Dog Night. It was not really something I was crazy about at first, but once I started playing it; it I found out that it suits my voice quite well....and all the 35 - 50 year old women get a lil' crazzizzy. :banana :eeks

my two least favorites in our typical setlist still get some of the best responses; love shack and play the funky music

Cocaine blues or folsom prison blues, not a crowd on the planet that doesnt respond to Johnny Cash

If *I* tried singing, everybody would get up and get moving immediately. The exits would be packed until they'd all escaped. :)

I'm rehearsing pre-production trying to get a new song tight before tracking.

Extremely frustrating trying to find the perfect groove without an in the pocket drummer to work with.

No one good wants to work on all originals for no money.

I could care less about money and just want to do the songs justice.

Two Beatles songs for me (big surprise!)

Whenever I play either "Hard Days Night" or "Eight Days a Week", people really get into it. They even do the "hand claps" on Eight Days...

Doing Please Mr. Postman & Locomotion is fun if you have the backups.

If you have the vocals & The Funk
