I love DSOTM. I don't know that I can really pick a better one. That said I don't really pick it out from the rest of the Pink Floyd albums of that era. I like them all and usually listen to them all shuffled from my Iphone.

My favorite album is Ghost Reveries by Opeth. It takes me somewhere DSOTM doesn't. I put it on and listen all the way through and find myself in awe when it is over.

" Days Of Future Past " - Moody Blues. DSOTM fits the same category for me as an album that can be heard all the way through. " Whipped Cream On Top And Other Delights " was also mentioned earlier. Curtis Mayfield's " Superfly " sound track and " Ghost In The Machine " are also favorites for start to finish listening.
