1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

All I can think of are Splawn, and Mesa (Rectifier, Stiletto, Lonestar). What other amps have a second "solo" master volume.

I have a Marshall JCM800 combo that was modified with a master solo before I bought it.
The MV knob has another knob inside. It is two knobs in one. The out edge of the knob is like a normal volume knob but the inside is another knob that sticks out further.
You switch between them with the reverb button on the footswitch. The reverb still works but it's disconnected from the footswitch.

    GREAT mod.

Diamond amps. That was the single feature that drew me to those, although I never bought one. Wasn't my cup 'o tea.

Cameron amps have a footswitchable solo mode that has its own adjustable volume control.

The Marshall JCM900 SLX has dual footswitchable master volumes. I had one of those but I ended up selling it and buying a DSL2000, which has 2 seperate channels with their own gains. I like less gain on my rhythm tone. So this works out better for me.
