Name that effect

For years I've been trying to get a handle on an effect Joe Walsh used with some regularity, but I just can't seem to get it figured out. It sounds a little like a Leslie with some Chorus thrown in. The opening chords to "Meadows" on the Smoker you Drink the Player You Get album showcases this sound well, but it's been on many other Walsh recordings. Can anybody give a brother a clue?

Based on the little time I spent with the Deco, I think DavidH is right. I'm not much of a flange guy though, so other people are probably better qualified to say.

I agree that there is some element of flanging or phase shifting going on, but what I'm after is that metallic bell like tone. Kind of a "clang".

Hard to know for sure just by the 'Meadow' recording, because there's definitely elements of Flanger. But I know on 'But Seriously, Folks...' he's primarily using a 4-Stage Phaser. I think the clang just comes from a bright Telecaster and Phaser through a Tweed Deluxe (or something similar).
