    Any new delays?

I'm wanting to jump on a Timefactor but the A/D > D/A of the dry tone... :puh

Please tell me there were some MIDI capable deeelays debuting!

    Thanks for posting, Mac!!

Since discovering optical compression (Diamond), I've been waiting for something like this to come along - If I could have the EQ/comp in a single pedal I'd be happier, as I'm already overwhelmed w/'distortion generators' & had hoped to stop 'collecting' them. Too bad about the NAMM Noise Police, I'd have enjoyed your take on the overdrive tones. Is there a ballpark price on these puppies yet?

Off topic, is that Maxon comp also an optical circuit? I've yet to try anything from these guys that hasn't been absolute top quality, but the compressor's eluded me in this godforsaken tubescreamer town

Nope, it's the classic dBX VCA circuit. Doesn't get much TGP ink, but for me it's the be-all/end-all stompbox compressor. I can't understand why it's ratio control continues to be virtually unique.

I'm pretty sure this one's supposed to be at NAMM. Either way, I want one, the Paul Gilbert Detox EQ. Not a brand new concept but one that's still quite useful and not done by many companies.

    Like Yellowecho said: Analog>Digital / Digital>Analog conversion

Like, I want a Timefactor, but with a Timeline's tone...

    Is that so hard?!

Haha, yea, it actually is kind of hard. Like someone mentioned in a similar thread (regarding the DL4's conversion), "should we not record music because we have to convert the analog audio to digital?". Truth is, the tone of your guitar with the Eventide is virtually untouched, and entirely untouched when it's True Bypassed. That said, if you're set on no digitization of tone, you might have to stick with plain 'ol analog delays...most of which lack the Timefactor's array of cool features.

Then you get one of these: http://www.solidgoldfx.com/blender.php
and rune the Timefactor wet only out signal and blend it with your untouched guitar signal.

I checked out the new Eventide Pitch pedal. Very impressive. The best pedal of it's type. If you use an expression pedal with it, pitch dive-bombs are a hundred times better than a Whammy pedal. If you use it to add harmony notes, there is very little processing time. Of course, it costs as much as some rack units.
