Not stereo, it seems. Cool anyway.
There's a new high gain Revival Drive too. They've been busy!
Origin has blown up my plans for this year which was to not really buy pedals. Oh well.
"The RevivalTREM is more than just a tremolo pedal, however. Based on the groundbreaking technology found in the Origin RevivalDRIVE, it houses a complete valve-amp style signal path recreated in all-analogue electronics. It’s voiced to deliver a wide range of Deluxe-style valve amp tones with stunning authenticity, from gritty cleans through chewy Brownface break-up to growling Tweed-style distortion, all available with or without the independently switchable bias tremolo effect." Dang it @JackInR! You beat me to it!
Origin is just killing it! Excellence is in their blood
Was in line for a Kingsley Bard, but this could be an interesting option...
In order to get the trem, you have to push two footswitches, on and trem?
Daaang, that sounds great
You can have the trem footswitch engaged and then turn on/off the drive section as desired which will turn on or bypass the entire pedal. At least, I believe it can operate in that manner.
It sounds good, but that $430 price tag is a bridge too far for me.
I recently picked up a Down Brownie, which covers this. Origin should just make an amp and be done with it!
Glad to see the tap tempo inclusion (via back jack). I will have to try one of these.
I have been in the market for a harmonic tremolo -- was about to pull the trigger on a Walrus Monument v2 -- and then this was announced. Wow. I think the bias Trem sound was what I was really going for (at least from the video demos).
Additionally, I recently purchased a RevivalDrive Compact (which I LOVE). I have been using my Monte-Allums mod OD-3 pedal as a second gain stage with it. Now I am thinking about replacing the OD-3 with the RevivalTrem for the gain boost duty as well as Trem. Gonna have to save my pennies.
That sounded soooo good. First time I’ve really wanted to try their OD and it’s in a tremolo pedal
To me this is the most interesting NAMM announcement so far... will likely be my first Origin Effects pedal.
Sounds incredible and but not 4x the cost of my Supro Trem incredible.
damnit, it sounds really good in these vids. I don't want to want any more pedals.
The Bard is great. I would be seriously gassing for the Origin Trem if I didn't already own the Bard.
And I thought I didn’t need another Trem option. Sounds killer!
