Nashville bridge vs abr 1???

Im not gonna change my new les paul bridge.

I just read somewhere that guys were discussing these bridge types.

I looked at photos as best I could, but could not determine a difference.

Anyone care to enlighten me? :)

Pretty sure the strings can't tell the difference. I can though. ABR1 for me. I'm just that shallow.

ABR-1 has the classic vintage look. It's thinner and looks like the original LPs from back in the day.

The Nashville is chunkier and has more intonation range. It's less prone to collapsing over the years from downward hand pressure like the ABR-1.

Problem with the Nashville is that its extra width means the strings tend to run into it on their way to the tailpiece. I doubt it matters but it just doesn't look cool.

My preference is ABR-1 just because it looks the part.
