NBD- P Bass

    Got a good deal on this on CL. Squier CV 70s P Bass. Just got it set up and it plays great! Really impressed.

    With maple board and roundwound strings, its the perfect compliment to my J bass with rosewood board and flatwound strings.

    That Jazz bass is a fine looking instrument.

    Yeah, it's great. Definitely the superior of the two. Just got the P bass so I can mix things up a bit.

    Those cv 70s are awesome! I picked one up to use as a backup to my ‘76 P and it definitely holds its own compared to the Fender. Sometimes I use it as my main

    Between the two, you pretty much have it all covered except the more modern active sound. Congrats.

    I also ordered the chrome pickup cover for the P. I like that look and it doesn't get in the way of my playing

    I have one of those P basses and agree that it’s a great bass.

    Got a pickup cover for the P today. It didn't include screws so I had to borrow some from the pickguard til I get to the hardware store. I love the chrome! :cool:
