I can contrast that with my 1990 Miami-'Bama Sugar Bowl experience:

"Rollllllllllllll tide!" All day/night. 50,000 Drunk obnoxious louts
    We won, Natl Champs
Went on UMs dime, media all access pass

We Auburn fans (most of us are also Auburn grads, unlike Bama fans), in addition to having all of our teeth and family trees that fork, are generally classier than Alabama fans.

I was pulling for Harbaugh and Michigan, but,no dice.Utah was too much.

Anyone else think #2 TCU looked a little shaky.Could have just been 1st game jitters.

Yeah I wasn't sure if I was being impressed by the Gophers or underwhelmed by the Horned Frogs.
And how UNC let the Gamecocks win I'll never understand.

Typical Auburn fan response. Not once in this thread has anyone made a crack about Auburn but you attack Alabama. Y'all talk about Bama more than you do your own team.

Baylor looked pretty strong. After the playoff snub,TCU and Baylor will probably be out for blood this season.

Louisville really screwed up on that time out against Auburn.

That was closer than Malzahn was wanting.

Good thing my 11 month old son is being super cute, or else I'd really be bumming about the Hail Mary Husker loss.

    LSU rained out.

We really needed to get this non-conference game in.

A lot closer. Hopefully it was just first game (as the full time starter) jitters for Johnson, he's never looked that off and just chucked up deep balls for grabs. He should have thrown more picks than he did. It would have been a blowout if not for the turnovers. We had some costly injuries too, don't know the extent of them yet. Lawson is supposed to be fine, he was unblockable before he went out.

Sounds like the Gods of Football don't want (an allegded) top-tier team to pad their schedule.
It also sounds like they won't be able to make it up (open slots do not align).
I wonder if McNeese still gets it's lamb's-to-the-slaughter money?

I'll accept that. I guess we'll see how good we are at Mississippi State next Saturday.
