Just got done trying out my new cab with my 79 JMP 2203. First thing I played on my Faded LP Special with Pearly Gates was Shot Down In Flames by ACDC and I was smiling by the end of the intro. Crisp vintage tone to the max. Nice balance of frequencies and a sweet top end that will only get sweeter as the speakers break in. Not alot of bass, but more than enough tight punchiness for vintage guitar tone. I was surprised at its dominutive size as i was expecting it to be not much smaller than a 1960ax, but my back isn't complaining. It is a tad boxier than my Avatar Contemporary 2x12 with Hertigage 12-65's but man, to me it sounds heaps better. So much better, that the Avatar is now for sale.
