I've ordered tab books from the guys at Sheet Happens a few times (big Propagandhi fan). I just saw this: http://www.sheethappenspublishing.c...ties-|-printed-guitarbook-+-jam-tracks-bundle and thought it was a cool idea that I've never seen before. It's a bundle with the tab book and a USB card with "custom Axe-Fx II tones" used by the band and the full album with the lead guitar removed.

I can't say I've heard of the band before, but after checking them out they have some chops. Apparently they do the same thing for a few other bands.

I've heard of a few Kickstarter projects where one of the 'extras' that they give for higher contributions is the patches they used which the Axe-FX (or whatever modeller they used to track the guitars).

I think it is a good idea, and a way to enhance the marketing of a band over just their music. Good for the guitar geek followers of the band.
