    1000pF = 1nF = 0.001uF

    Does that help?

    EDIT: I don't know many stores in the US but Mouser should have one.

    Dave,

    There is an electronics surplus store here in San Diego that I get a lot of parts from when I scratch build amp kits. I got some various 500V silver mica caps the other day for $0.25 each

    I'll see if they have 1000pF...I'm pretty sure they did.

    Email your address if that is what you need and I'll send you a few.

    Chris

    P.S. I'll check specifically for 100VAC barrel type.

    Dave,

    You can use higher rated caps with absolutely no issues. Those caps are everywhere. .001uf is a common value. You can bend the legs on an Orange Drop and voila.....

    ...ok I stopped by the store on my lunch break..

    I picked up .0013uF radial 100V, .001uF mylar 100V, and 1000pF 300V silver mica...there was actually about 20 different types at the surplus store that would have worked for you.

    They were only $0.25 each and it is just two blocks from my office so it was no trouble.

    I'll drop them in the mail tonight.

    Chris

    Dave,

    Still don't have your mailing address....

    Please send it to me if you still need the caps.
