I'm looking for a small-ish amp head (15W+) that I can use as a backup amp on gigs. My main amp is a 1963 Fender Concert and I plan on using the cab with the backup amp. Hence, I need an amp head that has a 2ohm output. I could just pack an extra amp, but I can barely fit all of my gear in my Beetle as it is and I doubt I'd have room for even a small combo. An extra amp head, though, I could find room for. Any advice?

Or you can rewire the speaker cabinet in your Concert to allow you to switch between series and parallel wiring so you can have it be either 2 or 8 ohms. You aren't really going to find many small heads that run at 2 ohms.

That's a cool idea, Greentone. Thanks! However, I have no idea how to do that. I can wire in series or parallel separately, but I have no idea how to rig something up like you suggest. Can you explain or point me in the right direction?
